Elite Prospects Notes and Trivia
History:
Hawks was founded in 1990. The team succeeded Haukat II, the Haukat secondary team founded in 1988. The creation of the team was necessary due to regulations that prevented two clubs operating under the same name on the same and/or on one tier from separate from another. The team functions to provide local players the opportunity to continue playing hockey after junior hockey. The team used the name Haukat when Haukat rebranded itself as KJT and switched to Haukat HT in 2003 when KJT reverted back to Haukat.
