Anaheim Ducks forward Leo Carlsson was recently named to Sweden’s Four Nations Cup roster, and that’s the impetus to check in on how he was viewed as a prospect, what he’s done in the NHL, and what his fantasy hockey future holds. 

Carlsson was drafted second overall in 2023 and ahead of potential franchise cornerstones like Adam FantilliWill Smith, and Matvei Michkov. The 2023 Elite Prospects Draft Guide had him ranked third overall, celebrating his puckhandling, passing, and hockey sense.
