Fantasy Hockey Feature: Adam Fantilli's new opportunity

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Adam Fantilli had his rookie season cut short due to a leg laceration, but he still had 12 goals, 15 assists, and 115 shots in 49 games. A pace of 20 goals, 25 assists, and 193 shots in a full season. As a 19-year-old rookie, that was a good first effort, and hopes were high for 2024-25. However, his goals, assists, and shots per game have all declined despite more ice time. 

With Sean Monahan’s landing on the IR after leaving their game on Tuesday night due to injury, Fantilli may be in line for a much bigger role. It is worth looking at what he did in his rookie season, what he’s done as a sophomore, and what the hopes are for this season and beyond.
